The founders of Ecoverse

Hi!

We’re Stam and Oz and we’re so happy you’ve come to visit our Ecoverse!

This is the universe we’ve worked on to create a space for like-minded people who love sustainability but just don’t know where to start.

Or maybe you have started your sustainable journey but want to take steps to further it. 

What we’ve learnt is that every step matters, big or small. 

We want to help you create a sustainable life, in a convenient way. 

So, if you’re still reading, here’s a bit about us. 

We met while studying in Barcelona. Oz is originally from Turkey, and Stam is from South Africa. We were friends instantaneously and from that first day of class, we knew we would be friends for life. It was a ‘friends at first sight’ kind of thing. 

After graduating with our MBA’s, we knew we wanted to go into business together, but in what, we had no idea. 

In class, they always told us, follow your passion- easier said than done. We have many passions in life, but creating a business out of something you love, is not always as easy as it seems. 

After maaaany late night convos, the idea of Ecoverse organically developed. It was staring us in the face the entire time. Every time we would have a chat, we would discuss the new recycling bins we bought, or the reusable cotton pads, or how to grow veggies in an apartment. It wasn’t always easy finding the right products and we had to scour website after website, visit shop after shop, to get what we were after to continue our sustainable journey. 

So we decided to create Ecoverse, a universe where you can find these items in one place easily.
